Zoon's Puzzle
To continue the atmosphere of the National Youth Science Camp in the real world (no pun intended), Zoon periodically issues puzzles for you to consider.
Matching Grant Challenge has been met!
Dr. D.B. "Zoon" Nguyen (NYSC WA 1979) has issued a matching challenge grant of $7,000. For each contribution made at the following levels between now and January 31, 2010, Zoon has pledged to match the contribution, dollar for dollar. Here are the rules:
- If the Foundation receives ten $100 contributions, then Zoon will match it with a $1,000 contribution.
- If the Foundation receives four $500 contributions, then Zoon will match it with a $2,000 contribution.
- If the Foundation receives one $1,000 contribution, then Zoon will match it with a $1,000 contribution.
- If the Foundation receives two $1,500 contributions, then Zoon with match it with a $3,000 contribution.
- Contributions made between two levels count as one contribution at the lower level. For example, if you contribute $200, we'll recognize that as one $100 contribution, for the purposes of Zoon's Challenge. The full value of the contributions are reflected in the table below.
