Dear Contributor,

I would like to thank you for your efforts in making the National Youth Science Camp a reality each year.  My experience at camp was one of the best experiences of my life and the memories I have made there will be long lasting.

The things I learned at the National Youth Science Camp and the insights I have gained about many areas of science will help me both in college and later in my future career.  The lecturers that came and spoke to us were engaging and interesting and I felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to listen to them talk about their passions in science.

I also enjoyed the many different outdoor activities that allowed me and my fellow delegates to experience the wonderful beauty of West Virginia through hiking, climbing, and biking trips.  Our trip to Washington D.C. was also a valuable opportunity to get a better idea of how our country works and how science plays a role in national politics.

In addition, the people that I met at camp were some of the most unique and talented people I have ever interacted with.  Not only were these some of the brightest scientific minds in the country, but they were also friendly and personable.  I found that each person had their own special perspectives and philosophies.  When I returned home after my journey of 3 ½ weeks, I came back with a whole new set of friends that I will always consider as my second family.

What astonished me most about camp was the fact that I was able to participate in this wonderful program without having to incur any costs.  Thanks to your generosity and that of the many other contributors to the National Youth Science Foundation, this valuable program can be available to students worldwide.  I would like to thank you again for the opportunity to attend the National Youth Science Camp and participate in this life-changing experience.

Thank you,
