One of the Mountain State’s finest features is the National Youth Science Camp, which brings brilliant teens — two from each state plus special foreign guests — to Pocahontas County each summer for a month of high-tech study and outdoor fun. The youths are inspiring, the best America has to offer as prospects for a better future. Most have won state-level prizes for research efforts. They’re dedicated and delightful.
