Dr. Ken Ono, of Pennsylvania State University and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, is a number theorist who both lectures and leads a directed study at the camp. By pressing delegates to trace the steps of mathematical proofs and logical constructs, he guides delegates through the muddy waters of number theory and illuminates some major mathematical steps, such as the proof of Fermat's Last Theorem.
