What does my iPod have to do with Deforestation

The most basic materials (steel, aluminum, copper, lithium, and plastic) of an iPod affect the environment and social structures globally in ways that you may not have previously imagined, from deforestation, water and air contamination, to forced labor and lead and mercury poisoning.
